About?
~~~~~~
Well here it is at last the ppLOAD and ppSAVE Accessory for AMOS Professional !
~~~~~~ ~~~~~~
These two seperate accessory programs have nothing to do with the AMOS
Professional's Compiler extension commands ppLoad and ppSave as my accessories
(with the help of Nico Francois powerpacker.library (V35) and his CLI commands
CRUNCH and DECRUNCH) will crunch and decrunch your source code to and from the
AMOS Professional's EDITOR screen (and if you so happen to have any banks
attached to your code, it will crunch/decrunch them as well).
It would be just like using the LOAD/SAVE/SAVE AS option to save your source
code except using my accessories will save you alot more disk space, in some
cases up to ½ the disk space.
System Requirements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- An AMIGA computer (Tested on a A600HD w/2megs CHIP and 1meg FAST)
- Floppy or HardDrive (Not required, but preferred)
- RAM: device to be mounted (If not, then it will fail)
- AMOS Professional (V2.00)
- powerpacker.library (V35)
- Nico Francois CLI commands: CRUNCH and DECRUNCH
* CRUNCH and DECRUNCH are available with Powerpacker v2.3a or Powerpacker
Professional.
Installation!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Make sure that you read your USER GUIDE on how to install accessory programs
within AMOS Professional as there are a few ways to do it. If you just load it
straight into the EDITOR's screen and run it, a graphic requester will pop
up telling you the same thing that I just told you above.

Future possibilities of ppAccessories !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- An AMOS v1.3x version.
- The option of using either Powerpacker or Xpk for crunching your source code.
- A new Accessory addition called ppRun that will decrunch, test, and run your
source code.
- The ability of changing the effeciency in which powerpacker.library crunches
your source code.
- And who knows what else !!
The idea's expressed above may or may not become a reality. Just matters on
when and if I can find the time to work on them. As I am very busy as of late.
